The signature roast duck was one of the best in town, along with a tasty tofu dish that paired well with rice. We also had a simple vegetable dish that was cooked perfectly. The only downside was that the white rice was undercooked, but we overlooked it due to the overall quality of the meal. It was noisy and crowded, especially since it was a Friday night, but we were happy we chose to dine early. Our only concern was the crowded environment, given the current COVID situation. Despite that, we would have considered returning for the amazing roast duck, which was probably the best we've had in Singapore.
The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the waitstaff is very friendly. The dining areas have a fusion of Oriental and Western decor, creating a comfortable environment. The standout dish is the Roast Duck, which is incredibly succulent. Another recommended dish is the fried prawns with Bonito Aioli. The Crabmeat Ee-fu Noodles are also delicious.
We decided to try the special holiday menu as well as order some items individually from the menu. The holiday menu had a mix of really impressive dishes and some that were not as great. The ice cream dessert with honey was incredible. From the regular menu, we especially enjoyed the pork cheek appetizer and the roast duck. However, the steamed Chilean sea bass was a disappointment, being overly garlicy and lacking depth of flavor.
I liked the food and decoration, but service was not ideal. No one welcomed us after we sat and we had to wait for the menu. Although Waiters and Waitresses were walking around. Our dishes were not served together.
Chinese fusion food. Servings are good for 4 pax. Enjoyed prawn bonito aioli, wuxi pork ribs, lamb tenderloin and roast duck. Quiet ambience and private seating. Highly recommended and wiuld definitely return
