Sakunthala's Restarant (dunlop Street)

I had very good meal there, friendly staff and a lot of indian food to choose,,and yummy taste too

We had one of the best biryanis in Singapore at this restaurant. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, complemented well by the tender mutton and delicious chicken curry. It was great value for money, as it also came with an egg, raita, poppadum, and unlimited rice. The bhindi fry, pepper mutton, and lassi were also outstanding. The restaurant had recently been renovated and all the staff, from the safe entry attendant to the manager, were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning!

The Indian food here is excellent, although a bit more expensive compared to other places. I suppose you're paying for the quality, reputation, and air conditioning! They offer a wide variety of dishes; I sampled the thosai, tandoori chicken set, and masala tea. The dhal dishes were especially delicious! Many of the dishes also come with unlimited popadoms - just ask your waiter for more. I would give it nearly 5 stars if it weren't for the higher prices. I definitely plan on returning.

The food was tasty but a bit too spicy for my liking. However, the cleanliness of the restaurant could be better. There were crumbs and water droplets on the chairs, and the sink in the restroom had visible traces of spit. The service was also lacking, as we were the first to arrive but others were served before us. This is why one star is deducted from my review.
