Fragrant Fried Rice that is delicious and has a good 'wok hey ' or breath of the wok taste to it. Very flavourful halal chinese cuisine with modest pricing and warm hospitality. Tried their Beef Fried Rice for dinner. Believe me when I say that the beef is the most tender and melt in your mouth beef you will get at a halal tzi char restaurant. For $6, this is definitely a must try : Will be sure to support New Hawa (Chai Chee with good food and good company. 5 out of 5 stars!!!!!
The pricing here is reasonable, the service is good, and most importantly, the food exceeded my expectations.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem of a restaurant in the quiet Chai Chee area. The food was delicious and appealed to our tastes. Despite arriving just 10 minutes before closing time, the staff graciously accommodated us. We ordered salted egg chicken ($15 small), stir-fried garlic Kang kong ($6), and a Prawn Omelette ($10), all of which were flavorful. Each plate of rice cost $1, and our drinks, Ice Milo and Bandung, were $2.50 each. Unfortunately, they had run out of milk for our beverages. The total cost of our meal for two came to $38. The staff kindly advised us to slow down and enjoy our food as they prepared to close, not realizing that we were eating quickly because the food was so delicious. Overall, a great spot to savor Chinese-style halal tzi tchar cuisine.
The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. After enjoying my meal, I went to the hair salon next door for a haircut by a talented lady. Seniors can get a haircut for only $5. I recommend stopping by for a haircut before or after your meal. Guys, give it a try!
