Terrible taste. The portion for the main was miserable too. One of us ordered the fish and chips. Looks like kids meal. Would have paid for non lunch set, if I knew the portion was so small. But then again, I don't have confidence in the food standards. Long John Silver probably much better.
For my son, we requested that the burger be prepared without onions, but it arrived with onions anyway. We had to pick them off, which was frustrating. It’s these small details that can be tedious, especially since the reliability of a chain restaurant is part of why we choose to dine there. If I had wanted an unpredictable meal, I would have eaten at a food stall. Overall, it was disappointing not to receive exactly what we ordered. The rest of the food was decent, but I expected more consistency.
We dined at Chili's Clark Quay for dinner, and we were pleased with our choice. Our first impression was wonderful: the manager on duty that day (September 1, 2018) was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The waitstaff were helpful, fun, and very attentive to our needs, making our evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed gathering with friends.
The nachos, egg rolls, and fajitas are fantastic! However, the tacos could use some improvement.
For my son, we requested his burger without sauce, but it arrived with it anyway. We had to scrape the sauce off, which was quite the hassle. Consistency is what you expect from a well-known franchise, and if I wanted an adventurous meal, I would have dined on the street instead. So it was disappointing not to receive exactly what we ordered. That said, the rest of the food was decent enough.
