Carniceria Santa Cruz - Silverthorne

What a hidden gem this place is! I would've never expected to have some of the best Mexican food of my life in Silverthorne out of all places, but you'd be surprised by this place. Don't let the looks deceive you this is truly some of the best Mexican food I've been able to find in CO and you will not regret your visit. And let's not forget the cherry on top which is their incredible salsa bar! They have a wide variety of salsas to choose from and even some roasted jalapeños as well. Additionally, after your done stuffing yourself with whatever your heart desires, you can go ahead and shop around the market for some yummy treats and desserts. Moral of the story: If you're ever in the area this place is a must try!

The food is so good! And it's affordable! I got the barria today and it was good and I usually got for the taquitos. They also have some bomb horchata

My favorite Mexican food in the area and definitely the most authentic. Amazing salsa bar with a big variety of great sauces and toppings. The meat counter has a bunch of authentic meats and cuts that you don't see in grocery stores. We stop every time we head through town on our way to Steamboat.

La Perla has the best Mexican food in Summit County. Yum, Yum, Yum. We eat barbacoa, beans and rice buy their Avocados and flour tortillas from the grocery side of the establishment We take these items home and eat authentic Mexican Food!!! Nothing else in Summit County comes close!!! My personal wish list get a liquor license so they could serve cold beers and margaritas
