Ai Banchi - SIENA

Very nice location in the north of the old town. we sat on the small terrace outside, but inside also looked beautiful. not the cheapest, but good quality. we were regrettable to have a loud party on the next table, which was a little pampered but. both the crab linguine and the lobster salad were in order, but a little rustic prepared to get their finger dirty. wein a little pricy, but of good quality. service good if a little curt, although the heart who took our booking had a more than easy pretentious air that was a scandal.

After a day of sightseeing in Siena we wanted to leave the city. we went with us when we discovered a wine shop with a bar. it was the early evening and we fanned a glass prosecco. when we wore the wind, we asked for the price and only asked for two glasses. these were properly brought to our table, as well as a stand of olives/mandling and cramping, as well as some bruschetta and crostini on porcelain plates. the accompanying serviettes said grand hotel continental' (which we had gone a few doors away) and we have now wondered how much the bill could be! in the payment of the bill we were pleasantly surprised that the fee was only euro per glass. the food, drink and service was excellent. best recommended for an early evening drink.
