Chicago Empanada Mama - side

I stopped by this restaurant while waiting for a prescription at the Walgreens across the street. The atmosphere and décor were impeccable, and I was greeted with friendly service. I ordered an iced latte (which was amazing) and decided to try a couple of empanadas while I waited. Let me tell you, this is some of the best food I have ever had in Chicago. The pork and rice empanada with chimichurri was absolutely delicious. I ended up ordering two more to take with extra chimichurri for later. The staff and other customers were all friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to return and sample more items from the menu.

This restaurant is perfect for a romantic date or a girls' night out. The decor is beautiful and made me feel like ordering a pina colada. The empanadas were delicious and the Rican rice was authentic and delicious. I highly recommend trying the chimichurri sauce, it has a great flavor. The atmosphere is fun and the bar is great for intimate conversations. Highy recommended!
