The Powis Arms - Shrewsbury

The chef was new this day his first day therefore no structured menu was available, instead the chef came to sit at our table and explained what was available to eat and asked what we wanted and he would cook it for us. all 4 of us chose something else I can say that eating came at the same time, hot and delicious, could not blame anything at all. he even apologised that he had to cook for me, ofenchips, would not be my choice, but they were quite nice. he said that many chips would never be his choice, and where only one last resort and something he wouldn't do in the future. the chef was very friendly and friendly and also very entertaining. we hope that he will remain occupied by the powis arms because he is and will be a great advantage.

Great eating and incredibly reasonable prices. friendly, helpful staff.

We have received a last-minute booking for the new year friendly and not disappointed. the chef was particularly helpful in researching my nutritional needs before. noise level was low, which was excellent when considering that it was silvester.

Pleasant lunch. Pub was quiet but staff were not very attentive. The menu was not the menu I had seen on line but the food was ok.

Fantastic roast Sunday lunch, plenty of meat veg. Brilliant
