Hotel Nalanda - Shimoga

Nalanda hotel good food and they maintains the good taste I one suggestion they need to maintain clean in the hotel

Had a pleasant experience in this very small hotel in the middle of Shimoga town. Its a very old restaurant so do not go expecting too much. They have everything basic but clean.Its like a restaurant that takes you back in time. Food was fresh and basic.Service was friendly and quick.

They had malnad food -- akki roti, malnad chicken curry, and malnad chicken dry. they were all good. the staff was also good. Also had snacks from the veg restaurant - they were good

You will get the best biryani in whole shimoga, especially mutton biryani. Hotel is just beside the SBI bank. although ambiance is quite local but the biryani is of top class.

Good hotel to take parcel! looks like local hotel but non veg items are superb! one who want to eat malnad food please visit
