Bistro 214 - Shelby

This place was INCREDIBLE!! I was in a lot of high-end places in Charlotte (Beef n Bottle, Ruth's Chris, etc., and my partner and I agreed that this was the best steak we ever had in our lives!! We started with the mushroom berry and it was amazingly flaky pastries, spice mushrooms, gooey cheese, basically everything you want in an appetizer. We both ordered the Ribeye special, it came with asparagus and potatoes potatoes, but I have mines for the potato croquettes. The steak was literally the best steak I ever had in my life, perfectly boiled, perfectly spiced... Yum. Even the side parts were amazing, which is often not the case. The asparagus was also well seasoned and perfectly carved and the croquette was crispy and delicious. We finished getting everyone a dessert (we took half of steaks and potatoes home it was even amazingly heated to lunch the next day! He's got the chocolate cake and I got the cream. Perfect, perfect end to one of the best meals in my life

The three of us all had different fish dishes and they all came perfectly cooked. Great service also

We always enjoy the food in Bistro 214. Food is great and the service is excellent. We only go once a month, but they always know us and what we like before we have to ask at all.

A perfect Caprese salad, juicy grilled Salmon, spinach and boiled potatoes. Filet steak is always perfect. Vanilla ice cream for dessert or get the Full Monty and have Bananas Ni Fen. All washed down with a few glasses of Malbec. Great service from Sue and Bailey. Best restaurant in Shelby hands down! They also permit BYOB!

Above and beyond for the area and most large cities. Food was amazing as well as the service. The main course was exceptional but the dessert was so good you forget how full you were. I had the filet mignon and tried the trout and salmon my friends got. All so very good.
