Cajun Deli - Shakopee

I ordered my usual seafood boil with shrimp. I call ahead so it is ready when I pick up. I believe the employees were new that took my order tonight. I had a difficult time understanding the employee because of his heavy accent. I repeated the order multiple times and it was still hard to understand the employee. I specifically asked for shrimp with extra potatoes, corn, and sausage. The employee acknowledged it and said it would be ready. I arrived at the restaurant and repeated back to both of the employees: shrimp with extra potatoes, corn, and sausage. Both employees stated it was correct. I payed and left the restaurant. I got back home and noticed that they gave extra sauce and not extra sausage. I have no issue with anyone I just believe you should have someone taking orders that understands what people are ordering and the customer should be able to understand them. I believe better education is in order to avoid further issues. I was stopped by another customer as I was leaving who noted the same thing that it was hard to understand the employees. The food is great just minor changes when taking orders.

Stopped after work and had the garlic shrimp with rice and added the spicy pork sausage. They did not skimp on the garlic. It was very delicious and I look forward to visiting again and again and again.? Staff was super sweet and attentive. Remembered to ask questions about things you may have forgot.Parking: It’s strip mall parking so cross your fingers you’ll get there at the right time. Lot was mostly full when I arrived but I was still able to get a spot near the establishment.

My first time visiting Cajun Deli last night and it was amazing! It might be small, but the service and food is outstanding! I have to say, I wanted to try crawfish for the first time, and asked if I could try it before I buy a pound, and the server did it for me!
