Mrs Genes Place - Seward

If you're ever in Seward, Alaska you have to eat here. Run by Frau Mann Team: Elisabeth Bing, who are absolute gems! We come here last night to drink drinks and were happy enough to learn about many of their adventures that are probably more than we will experience in all our lives! Your dinner menu looked so amazing they were so great company that we had to return to dinner tonight and every bite was really incredible. A hidden jewel in a historic building that will not disappoint! So sad we cannot enjoy their culinary creations and good business when we return to Minnesota.

Absolutely fantastic and my favorite restaurant in Alaska so far. The Halibut Bake was to die and came with suggested salad and wine pairings that made the whole meal a dream. And the service was amazing. The waitress Elizabeth was friendly, personal and knowledgeable. I wish I could give more stars. I can't wait to go back.

Our first time to eat here yesterday evening and WOW! It was different from any other place in town. The food is excellent! Dinner with friends with what felt like our own private cook. Service was excellent, dinner and desert were exceptional. Drink, eat and ENJOY!

What a treasure! Ms. Gene's Place is a must when in Seward. The food is exquisite. Staff Bing Lis are amazing. And the ambience is juicy and very elegant. I love it. Look at this

This place was amazing. It’s the very small with 3 tables and 4 seats at the bar. Everything was absolutely delicious.
