We have a positive experience here. Your food is great and the service is reliable. I have tried a number of other Chinese options to run C’ville, but always find me back to Jade Garden as a better restaurant. Get up!

At the southern end of Charlottesville, the best Chinese take place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The food is great, we go almost 2 times a week for price and portions. I hope they never close

Easy to sum... A decent American Chinese fast food. I ordered a lunch special sesame chicken from a not so directly nice or dedicated employee (see other reviews about rest) and added a drink and an egg roll. I think I paid two dollars to add the egg roll and the drink. I got a waiting period of 10 minutes, so I went back and came back. When I came back to pick up my order, I was ready. Jade has COVID-19 arrangements until a plastic wall that blocks customers from the staff. The wall goes from the floor to the ceiling. There is a sophisticated slot to get cash and cards and a small hatch to get your food. I did not notice any personnel wearing masks so that the wall can only protect the personnel from the customer. The employee forgot my drink, but he had already pulled him out to hand me over. When I mentioned it, she cracked a smile and we had a laugh. Other reviews talk about Jades customer service lacked, but overall I was good with it. The humour over the drink makes things better. I carried my order back to work, but in the way I couldn't help but smell the egg roll. I starved and sniffed it on... fritted to perfection and very tasty. So delicious that I didn't get a picture of the golden browniss, I'm sorry. As for the main dish, the chicken was well roasted, with a herb and a sauce that was not too sweet. The rice was Bland and not what I had hoped for as a friend rice, but in total I could return and try something else... In any case, another egg roll just SMH.
