Rooster's Tex-mex-bbq - Seattle

Really nice Tex-Mex restaurant. But unfortunately, they closed their doors on August 30, 2019. They will be missed.

Surprisingly good! Mexican is never good in Seattle for some reason, but this was great. Everything was flavorful, fresh, spicy. Service was amazing.

Was a bit concerned when we walked in at 8:00 at night on a Saturday and there were so few patrons in the establishment, but the margaritas were good (not too sweet) and the smoked meats were fantastic. Even my Carne was not bouncy over-cooked. We'll come back for sure. Hope the rest of the neighborhood discovers them as well.

Good food and very attentive service. We were there with a larger party and they took good care of us. The food is good and is closer to Tex-Mex than most, but it's still not quite the real thing. Chips were thick and crispy and the Queso Fundido was good. We ordered a pretty wide spread of dishes and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The prices were reasonable as well. Good place for a casual get-together.

Great food, really friendly service would recommend and come back again when in Seattle again.
