Pasta Freska - Seattle

Had mixed feeling about going to pasta Freska due to rave reviews from a few friends but was a little risky for a valentines date! I threw all caution to the wind and said let’s try it! Well it didn’t go so well...Reservation was at 7pm and we didn’t get seated until 8pm. we had no other option other than to stay and wait as everyone else was booked). It wasn’t just us it was everyone, they were not equipped to handle the amount of reservations they took. This was the case until we left around 10pm within people trying to find room to stand while they waited and crowed around our table. There is no explanation of how many dishes you will receive but rather telling you there is more to come. Food had good flavor but was all very heavy, overly saucy, and a lot of carbs. I like to have a baseline of what to expect and that and organization were lacking. Owner was very friendly and checked in but for me the first impression and lack of awareness of how to create a good dinning experience was enough to decide this is not the place for me.

The chef at this restaurant is incredibly friendly, making it a pleasure to sit back and be served. Every dish is a delightful surprise. Just let the chef know your dislikes or allergies, and the meal will be customized accordingly. Stay open-minded, relax, and savor the experience. This allows you to focus on the company you're with and enjoy the wonderful time together.

The tablecloth underneath my bread plate was dirty. While the food was tasty, my husband did not like that it was brought out in stages. The restaurant became overcrowded and we felt uncomfortable with people waiting too close to our table. The noise level was so high that we couldn't even talk to each other.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant with a unique twist - there was no menu! When you sit down, they ask if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, and then the chef takes over from there. The atmosphere is very casual and fun, so come prepared to enjoy some delicious food, drinks, and good company. Highly recommend!

I have to say I was a bit nervous that there was no menu. We were asked what we didn't like and the meal was chosen for us by the owner. I love this place! The owner was very hands on, intermingling with all of the diners. The food was Excellent! Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends. Thank you so much. We had a wonderful time!
