The side of the king bed that was closest to the door was worn down. Other than that and the view of the center of the hotel from the room (they should put film on the windows so neighbors can’t see in and so guest aren’t looking at the concrete on the top of the roof), it was nice. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are super clean. The vibe is cool. And the free shuttle service runs frequently to the airport. You might want to bring a sleeping bag or blanket because the comforter is super thin. I got cold in the middle of the night and put on my jacket. Also, bring ear plugs. There was a clicking noise that kept waking me up. It might have been the little fridge. Plus, if you go to bed early, you might want ear plugs so you don’t hear the train that passes right by the hotel. Windows of some rooms are right there next to the tracks. It’s great that they have snacks downstairs. The closest places to eat are Jack in the Box, Dennies (the food there is just wrong) and a steakhouse that isn’t open in the mornings.Overall, this is a nice place to stop for a night.
Nope. Its nice that its close to the airport, as we had early flights out, and its nice that its a new building. But thats it.We had two rooms, and when we checked in were told they would both not be next to the rail line, but one ended up being on that side.Worst of all the walls are paper thin. You will hear the rooms next to you, above you and below you. We barely got any sleep due to the room next door partying until about 1am and then blasting their tv until after 3am. When I asked the front desk to address it, they showed little interest and judging by the continued noise I doubt they did anything. Definitely will NEVER stay here again and would recommend probably any other hotel in the area.Being a Marriott Rewards member, I feel they should compensate me for having stayed here. Just awful.
We had to book this at the last-minute, because we needed to stay overnight upon our return from a cruise, when our flight was departing the next day.We were pleasantly surprised at the very modern, clean, comfortable accommodations at a great price. Also loved the shuttle to the airport, as that was very convenient. Also appreciated that they had food/drinks available for purchase, and even a little bar in the lobby. The options are limited to ‘bar food’, but they definitely worked for us; we took food up to our room and were so grateful not to have to go out to go get something for dinner. For lunch, we ended up walking to Sharp’s Roasthouse, which was also a nice option.Aside from a 7-11 and a gas station convenience store there isn’t anything much else around, but if you just need a nice, clean, safe place to stay near SeaTac, this is the best option we could find.Oh! And the lady at the front desk when we got there was awesome. I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten her name, but I hope they they can find when we were there and give her some kind of recognition- she was so great and helpful!
BEWARE! My credit card got compromised at the hotel. I came back only to find out that the hotel charged me 3 times the room charge PLUS a Sams club membership! I had to close the account and get a new card. Stay away. Also, there was no way to just turn on the lights in the bathroom?? You have to wake everyone up just go to the loo.
Hotel is near the airport. The shuttle was really fast once we called. Checking in and out was smooth. We even had a late checkout. The room was OK. Nothing fancy, although it was modern. There was one switch that turned all the lights except the lamps by the beds, so to get up and go to the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to turn all the lights on.The from seemed also not having good sound proofing. Maybe because I was not used to all the noise, but it seemed noisy. We were on the fifth floor but our view was that of the barrier to the commuter train, or the street, only the street, below. All and all it is a good place.
