This food is authentic Hawaiian menu and ingredients. They have POG, spam musubi, plate lunch and the staff talk da kine.
First time visiting this Bar and it was well worth it. Stopped by on a early Friday afternoon while I waited for the food I ordered and it was pretty empty so we had the whole place for ourselves. My wife its a light beer kind of gal and I'm more on the Lager side so I asked the Bartender for suggestions and he pretty much hit the nail with both of us on the first try. They have a huge selection, from Beer to Sake and everything in between. The bartender was great, very friendly and knowledgeable, quick to give us options and his opinion from the draft beers to the Tequilas that they have. Overall if it wouldn't be so far from us, we would easily be visiting the place every weekend. By the time we left (around 3-4pm) People where already starting to come in so it seems to be a very lively place later in the afternoon.
I first visited Onolicious Hawaii at the Oakley Kitchen for a Yelp event. When my daughter and I were looking for a central place to meet up for lunch, she suggested Oakley Kitchen and our plans were set. Not many places were open on a Sunday but Onolicious Hawaii was and I knew their food was really good. This time I ordered the Poco Moco and oh my goodness, it was so flavorful. It features a quarter pound ground beef patty atop steamed jasmine rice. Mushroom gravy and a fried egg as well as fried papaya string garnish top the whole thing. The burger patty was moist and really nicely seasoned and that mushroom gravy was out of this world. A beautiful dark German beer from the Cutaway Bar was the perfect complement to my meal.
Huge selection of beers, but the bartender can make a drink. Boom. And he's a nice guy to boot!
