Decesare's Pizzeria - Schroon Lake

This small restaurant in town is a hidden gem. A local recommended Stewart's as the best pizza in Schroon Lake, but I have to say, these guys are just as good. The pizza was served promptly and was delicious. I was a little disappointed that they couldn't make loaded fries, but that's okay. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is friendly and engaging with guests, creating a welcoming environment.

The pizza at this restaurant is fantastic! Whenever we're in Schroon during the summer, we always make sure to stop in for pizza at least once. I particularly enjoy the crispy crust on their pies.

The food at this restaurant was satisfactory. I ordered a steak sub and my grandfather had the veal parm dinner, which he enjoyed. Both meals came with a side salad or fries and homemade bread. The steak sub was made on delicious homemade Italian rolls. My only complaint was that the steak sub did not come with a side like fries or chips. My grandfather's only complaint was having to pay at the counter before eating. The process involved sitting down, reading the menu, then going up to the counter to place an order.

Never served a bad meal. Great food! Love the eggplant parm.
