I am super satisfied with the service and meals!!! Gluten-free is no problem at all!!! And the team still manages to conjure a table... although everything is full (Motherday). Super!!!!
Very good food friendly service beautiful atmosphere
I'm sorry, no questions, and actually you should even say a warning if nothing changes in the kitchen, because with this food quality you can't survive. So why such a negative criticism? Because our food had nothing more to do with taste, what and that is so good for the guests can be different and also is. But to arrange a few short sentences before. We were with four people on a Friday at 18:00 because of a recommendation in the historic “Friesen Hof” to make a nice day. Since we had pure sun, we first took place in the beer garden. When ordering drinks, we have already said that we want to go to the restaurant for dinner. The beer garden is protected, surrounded by trees, behind the restaurant and speaks quite. But unfortunately, this beautiful environment could not contribute to the feel-good atmosphere because our table was polluted by the trees with all kinds of flower dust and rice. Such a thing would simply have to be seen by the service and eliminated at the latest when the guests are there. Unfortunately, this was not the case and the other tables looked just as impure. Therefore we moved to the restaurant after a short time and ordered four different courses. The restaurant itself consists of the very rustic entrance area with vases and some tables, in the inn. There are three more rooms, not too large, but furnished in a cosy country house style. There's nothing to complain about. The toilet was bright and modern. But it was just after 18:00 with a supershafting recycle bin. The old paper had already been distributed in space. No beautiful views for a restaurant with precious stone. Advertisement “High-bourgeois German and international cuisine”. Such a good restaurant must be controlled at certain intervals. In the meantime, after a relatively short time, our food came, which did not look so bad first (see pictures). Our first complaint was that the “Schnitzel Cordon bleu” was completely burned for €13, from the hidden side. How could the cook only assume that we don't see it or taste it? Last but not least, my lumberjack with roasted onions and roasted potatoes was so hard and dry that you could hardly cut it with the knife. It also had a non-definable taste, so I read it to three quarters and also informed the overwhelming service. He only smiled and said nothing. But that was all, very clumsy and not a hospitable behavior. And if I sneak red onions. Order menu, then I would also like to have some and not grated onions (see photo). Also the fillet with asparagus was nothing special and we knew much better (see photo). Only in the fourth plate “Streifen von fried chickenmeat mit potato wedgeen ...” at 12.80. We had no objection. It was just delicious. Since we assume that so many mistakes cannot always be allowed and the reason for this is possible. Looking for a kitchen presentation, we agreed on a not quite negative rating, as the fourth food was fine. Our common feeling: We were very disappointed and will not come back from our own drive, at least not until we will read good, fair and up-to-date reviews about the food quality in the “Friesen Hof”.
Direkt in einem kleinen Wäldchen gelegen bietet das traditionsreiche Lokal eine schöne Außenterrasse und einen gemütlich eingerichteten Gastraum. Die Küche ist schmackhaft, verwendet werden regionale Zutaten. EIn guter Service rundet das Angebot ab. Ein schöner Platz für einen Ausflug mit Freunden oder Familie.
