This place has possibly the best Barbacoa in San Antonio. Don't believe me? Try it.. try a pound of the all meat barbacoa. The staff here is patient and friendly!!
It's the best in the area, delicious. Could do better with picking out the bone fragments in the barbacoa.
Today 05/22/2022 as my wife and I walked in Rios barbacoa in Schertz Tx it smelled real bad. We went ahead and bought two pounds of barbacoa and as we were heading out we noticed this other person coming back to return his barbacoa saying it was bad. When we got home sure enough the barbacoa was real bad it tasted ROTTEN!!!!! I went back to return it and as soon as i walk in the man from the place says “ I know its bad. It was only one box that was bad. Would you want me to replace your two pounds or do you want your money back?” I just asked for my money back but if he new he had a bad batch and the location is smelling real bad why does he keep selling? For sure im not going there anymore.
If your looking to try the menudo don't bother they are always out. The barbacoa is good.
