The presentation of the dishes was chaotic; the rangoons and egg rolls were carelessly placed in the sauces, making them soggy. The taste was underwhelming; the fried rice was dry—not hard, but certainly not the fluffy texture of freshly cooked rice. Once again, quality takes time. The main dish had decent flavor, but it wasn't anything particularly elevated. That said, don't let my review deter you from visiting. Overall, the food is comparable to other Chinese restaurants in this price range in the area. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious, with a full bar, though I've noticed no one sitting there during my visits. With some appropriate expectations, your visit will satisfy your hunger, but don’t expect any raving reviews from food critics.
First off, the food was served cold, except for the fried items. The wonton soup, fried rice, General Tso's chicken, and chicken with broccoli were all cold. The General Tso's chicken was especially disappointing; it lacked the flavor I'd expect from a Chinese restaurant. There was no breading and the sweet sauce had no taste. I also requested it to be spicy, but that didn't work out either. The chicken with broccoli wasn’t any better; my wife ordered it, and when I tried it, I found it quite bland. Additionally, it was served cold and seemed heavily made up of water chestnuts rather than chicken. On the positive side, the service was good and the staff was friendly. They even tried to reheat the cold food for us, but it was clear that they just microwaved it. When they brought it back, the rice was warm and the meat was only slightly warmer. We didn’t feel like asking for a second reheat. I wonder why this place is so crowded—perhaps it’s due to the lack of dining options in the area. I would definitely drive further for better Chinese food. It's puzzling why everything was cold. Was it prepared fresh or just reheated leftovers? I could not tell.
They went back to Chinese Fried Rice! No more Mexican/Puerto Rican Rice. Thank God I have been waiting for this day
We have lived in this area for 6 years but never made it to the restaurant until now. The place does not look like much but the food is absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the sweet and sour soup and the chicken. The portions are big for the price.
