The Ship Inn - Scarborough

The pub was really nice, the food was delicious and there was a generous amount of it. They had good gluten-free options and the service was very good.

I drove to this restaurant for Sunday lunch after having difficulty getting a table in Filey. It was definitely worth the trip! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the pub is a charming little spot. I highly recommend it!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The chip butty with a side of gravy was delicious. We enjoyed a Sunday lunch with all the trimmings that was absolutely fantastic. The meat was incredibly tender and the crackling was superb. The roast potatoes were crispy and the seasonal vegetables were cooked perfectly. Thank you to the Ship team, you are amazing.

We called in to see if we could book a table and if they could accommodate our two giant dogs and what a wonderful welcome we all received! A quick shuffle of furniture and the dogs were settled.. The food was fabulous and good value for money. They have a very well stocked bar but the best part for us was how friendly and welcoming everyone was despite having to stride over the dogs to get in. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Very small cluttered pub and personally not really friendly. Probably expected a warm friendly Yorkshire welcome
