For a pint and fish chips; it could not fail. the staff was very friendly, the pub clean, no cooking and a good choice of beer

The southern bbq burger really enjoyed today. the staff was good and the place was almost full when we arrived this Sunday dinner. there was no frying, but no problem. Dogs are allowed inside while eating what was great as there was a bit. windy outside was to enjoy the beautiful view.

We went to runswick from our holiday home in staithes and went to lunch before. sadly, the hill seems to have fallen. it looked like closed from the outside, not much was made to welcome the place. I sat a guy on the terrace when he was open and he said he was open by the middle of the day. it was almost the half eleven at this point, he turned out that the barmann also wait to come in, surely should a cook jump into the willingness to open on a sunny Saturday? but although it is a beautiful village, they are not spoiled for the choice where to eat, so we went on the afternoon. we were greeted by the place of a partially cleaned log burner, a few portable oil radiators and a blind one that fell. the place was so cold that my wife and the dams on the next table overcame their dumbbells. the food was in order, my fish and chips were in order, the two curries were simply ok, very little bun, with a nice splash, as far as I thought they would serve us plant hairs in a mistake. not cheap, almost fifty pounds for the three main and three drinks. such a scandal that could be location and should be so much better. they are busy enough that they can get away with him as no competition

Visited the royal hotel after a walk from whitby on the coast. my family are not fans of going and the thought of a pub lunch was their motivation. we received a warm welcome, the weeping of my wife and my best bitter were excellent and all. the place has a beautiful relaxed atmosphere and a magnificent view of the bay. was shocked by the bad reviews, as we would recommend one and definitely return.

Tables outside filthy and grotty. We asked if the table could be cleaned but didn’t happen. Ordered two coffees both barely warm. That’s it for us. We thought we would give the Hotel a second chance but two strikes and they are out. Disgusting!
