The Italian Emporium - Scarborough

Normally open for breakfast and lunch but do a set-price 2-course dinner about once or twice a month. Last night's dinner was superb! Three choices for Entree and three choices for Mains. We had Parmesan basket with rocket, ricotta, semi-dried tomato and avocado - a tasty combination. This was followed by tender chicken thigh wrapped around asparagus and served with potato and the tenderest beans I've ever tasted. It's BYO and their location is on the Redcliffe waterfront. Prices are very reasonable and service is friendly and very efficient.

Totally enjoyed our meals, we had the gluten free lasagna with salad and chicken schnitzel with salad great desert chocolate filled cannoli with coffee will go again thanks girls. Great gifts and pantry items.

I won't recommend this place. We ordered a lemon tart, an espresso and an iced coffee. The lemon tart was unfresh. On the top it was dried about half of it. The iced coffee was mostly plain milk. The espresso is nothing special. The staff was not particularly friendly.
