My Cake Lady - Scarborough

Lady owner was lovely but the cupcakes though looking delicious they were completely bland... couldn't tell the difference between them. We wanted to get 6 but for $36 I questioned why more money for them when they were priced $5each, she said she charges for the packaging.... I was shocked and just bought two, wish we ate them there cause I would have asked for my money back... I'm an amateur baker and love baking cupcakes, buttercream should be smooth and full of flavour and this just tasted like sugar and gritty... never again!

Went to the store at redcliffe.. my cupcake was so dry. The icing was sickly sweet and i could only manage a couple of bites before i threw it in the bin.. not a great selection to choose from either. A pretty dismal looking cake cabinet actually and the lady who owns it walks around the store in thongs which is absolutely vile considering shes in the food industry.. besides from my cupcake being horrible it was expensive too. I dont mind paying good money for a decent cupcake or cake slice. But i guess i should just stick to what i know.

If you want a really good cup cake go to this place, we went to their store on Redcliffe Parade. Every cup cake has a famous name like Elvis, Marilyn, Frank Sinatra etc, and they are delicious, my favourite one was the peanut butter one, we will return.

Before you consider dining at this restaurant, make sure to go for a run or take a break from eating for a few days. You'll understand why once you try the portions.

I can categorize everyone I know into two groups: those who enjoy chocolate cake and those who prefer plain vanilla cake.
