Papa Johns Pizza - Savannah

After 3 times of ordering from this place I can say it's terrible in every way. Order pizza from any other pizzaria because you'll never get your food from this place.

I cannot believe the incompetence of this place. Took two hours to get the pizza made. Then they delivered it to the wrong place. Without confirming anything, left the pizza on the ground and walked away. We never ended up finding it. Buy literally anywhere else.

I put in an order at the Victory Street Papa John's quite often. I always got courteous service with no complaints. One night in February 2022, I made an online order. Soon after, I found out the elevators were not working in our building. I called to cancel the order. The worker said he would ask the delivery person if they wanted to deliver or not and would call me back. Soon I received a call from the driver asking me to come down to pick up the order. As the elevators were down, I could not come down due to physical limitations, and the driver didn't want to come up the stairs. The order was canceled and sent back to the store. I called the store and informed the same worker about the situation. He and I apologized back and forth with each other. Then he asked for my phone number so he could flag a free pizza on my next order. I told him the fault of the situation was on my side and he didn't have to do that. He said it was his pleasure and I would get a free pizza. Thank you! ? BUT WAIT! When I called back the next day to put in a new order and cash in on the free pizza, the, I assume, busy young man said he could not find any indication of a free pizza on my phone number. He said, in a frazzled loud voice, it's not our fault your elevators were down I said, I understand that, but the other guy said he would put down a free pizza for me The worker was not hearing it today. I just felt like he could have said he would look into it or something instead of practically ripping my head off. Normally, I don't complain about things, but I felt insulted this time. Sad, it could have been handled better.

I called and placed an order for myself and my boyfriend. They said they would deliver in about 45 minutes. It has now been an hour and we still have not received our order. I called to ask if they were on their way, but they did not provide a clear answer. They informed me that there were not enough drivers available. I wish they had informed us earlier so we could have picked up the order ourselves. This turned what should have been a pleasant experience into a disaster. A simple phone call could have prevented this situation, but instead we were left waiting. I am very disappointed. It took 45 minutes for them to finally answer the phone. I am not sure how this establishment stays in business.

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have enjoyed it each visit. The pizza is great, made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. I also appreciate that they offer jalapeño garlic sauce for free. The staff is friendly, welcoming guests with a smile and speaking kindly. The location is convenient for a quick and easy pickup meal.
