We especially love the peanut butter ice cream cake. I ordered the quinoa salad, which was listed as having candied pecans. However, they were not candied and were extremely spicy, causing discomfort for hours. This should be specified on the menu to avoid surprising other unsuspecting diners. Despite this, we will definitely be back next year to try more items on the menu.
Wonderful place to have with family or friends for a drink or two have a meal, there is eating so well they get a lot.
Not sure what the restaurant proper is like, but poolside, one must truly like deep fried. And over deep fried...mostly the latter. The onion rings were essentially cripsy bits, with the onion almost cooked out of existance. Admittedly, there are sandwhiches, and a few salads, but everything else is a bit artery hardening. We also got a Denver sandwhich which was super thick and delightfully filling, as was the large sausage on a bun. Pyrogies might have been deep fried...not sure, but also had a sausage with it, so filled the man in our group. Basic Prices aren't too unreasonable though, and one can work off the calories back in the pool. Over all, we didn't really mind the food. Would eat there again.
Wonderful patio just outside the mineral spa, so it's nice to sit at and cool down. Drinks were reasonably priced, mine was good my husbands had no taste for a Long Island ice tea. This one needed improvement. My margarita was good. Steak ceasar salad...was delicious
The café next to the mineral pools offers a variety of affordable food options compared to the Water's Edge restaurant. The café's decor includes plastic panels and utensils. The fish and chips were tasty, although the fish may have been fried slightly longer than ideal for a golden brown color.
