The patio is very well laid out with a beautiful setting and comfortable chairs. Service was fine. Food is expensive and poorly done, fries were cold, pickerel sandwich was dry and flavorless, Niçoise salad was below average, as were the wings. But it was a nice setting for a glass of wine.

We had breakfast here and it was very good. Omelette was very good and the service was great. You get a carafe of coffee and cookies when you leave.

Every time we are in the city we take the kids and grandkids for brunch at the Bessborough's Garden Court Cafe. Wonderful food, lots of it, and lots of selection. The place accommodates children exceedingly well. Staff are attentive but not intrusive and make you feel very at home. We have also had breakfast here, as a couple, and found the food just fine (banana bread French toast!), with no stunting on ingredients (maple syrup, for example), but have never had dinner here so can vouch for it.

They served the most amazing chocolate cake I've ever had. The entire meal was delicious and we will definitely go back. The kitchen was always restocking the food and the serving staff was clearing plate and refilling coffees and drinks. It was an enjoyable meal.
