Dudley's Deli - Santee

I really enjoy the sandwiches at this place. A whole sandwich (you can also get a half) is quite filling. While they aren’t the cheapest, I believe the price is fair given that they use Dietz Watson lunch meats and cheeses, the portions are generous, and most importantly, they use Dudley's bread!

The combination of Dudley’s bread and having someone make a sandwich for me is a win-win situation. While I can create my own using my favorite Asiango bread, honestly, all the options are fantastic. I appreciate food that is just right and delicious, which aligns perfectly with the brand.

As I write this, I'm enjoying an incredibly delicious and fresh hoagie. I absolutely love a good sandwich! I opted to build my own this time. I started with a hoagie roll, skipped the jalapeños this time, but I'll definitely try them next time. I piled on some turkey, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, a bit of avocado, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper... mmmmm! The staff here is exceptionally friendly too. When I asked one of the guys if he liked his job, he said he loved it, and you can really tell they enjoy what they do; they were quite the entertaining sandwich artists! I also have to mention the fantastic selection of breads and the delightful treats from Dudley's that they offer. The Dutch apple cake looked heavenly, but we still have some leftovers from our holiday dinners. It's the best of both worlds... Dudley is right in our own backyard! Now, I think I’ll take a little nap.

Food is always good; Pickles are always mad. I took a star because of value / price, but this is a solid location for more beautiful highway. I got some slow service in the ancillary times, but they were always professional and attentive.

Their ingredients are top notch and their unique house-made breads complete the package for some of the best deli-style sandwiches available.
