An extremely old and well established restaurant, reccomend booking, very quaint, serving home cooked type traditional dishes. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, great place for a lunch, taking you back in time.

Mixed feelings. A genuine, local place with super friendly service. However we have picked the dish that wasn't so good cod that was a bit dry. Nevertheless it is worth seeing, you admire dozens of original corrida posters.

Good mixed porco preto plate tasted really good friendly service, some also speak English mixed salad well mixed can be better lulas were not as tender, but tasted good iscas (liver) overcooked, but taste was good

We stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon en route from Porto to the Algarve as it’s about half way. This was a great Portuguese experience as we were seemingly the only tourists. The place was packed with local families enjoying a weekend meal. It was loud, boisterous, and awesome. We ordered the pork with feijoada, lamb chops and the black pork which was recommended by the waiter. It was super packed and everything was very rushed. The waiter only spoke Portuguese. However the people were very friendly and the food was delicious. Everything came with rice and fries. No salads, just fatty meat and carbs. The other tables had salads, but in the rush and confusion, we somehow missed the opportunity to order them. We really had a great time and are very glad we dropped in here.
