The hotel has very special atmosphere due not only to its smart design but also the overall super quality of the service provided by all its people from the reception desk to the waiters to the cleaning crew. A special mention for Ricardo and Josmar at the Kitchen restaurant . Also the rooftop bar Apache, which is a separate business , is fabulous and its service is excellent. The food is quite good, and they have an extensive menu of drink options. The service at breakfast is very attentive, friendly, and regular Juan Pablo was a highlight but after 12pm the service goes downhill. It feels like you are fighting to get the waiters' attention, who always seem to be chatting or watching sports instead of serving. It took me 30 minutes to get someone's attention for a drink and another 30 to get my check from another waiter, after the first disappeared; it took a colleague 45 minutes to get the soup she ordered, despite the otherwise empty restaurant. I would come for the hotel breakfast...and not return in the afternoon. Despite catering to an American/English speaking clientele, they have not learned that their target audience feels quite offended by being ignored by waiters.
