Feeling a bit hungry, we approached to check out the prices on their menu. In addition to coffees, they also had a good variety of food such as different types of sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs. The best part came when we saw their prices - super affordable, just like the "ventanitas" (the places where food is usually cheaper in Cuba). So, we didn't think twice and ordered two little sandwiches with omelette and cheese, and one with ham, for only 50 cents each. The café only has a few tables on its small terrace (there are none inside), but despite being on the street, it's comfortable thanks to the sun-covering awning. In summary, a no-frills place with basic food, very affordable prices, and a great location.
Located on the bustling boulevard of Santa Clara, the Cuban coffee shop is a hidden gem we stumbled upon during our morning stroll through the historic center of the city. Feeling a bit hungry, we checked out their menu and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available. In addition to a selection of coffees, they also offered a range of delicious snacks, burgers, and hot dogs. The best part? The prices were incredibly affordable, just like the cheap eats you can find in Cuba. We decided to order two cheese and ham tortilla sandwiches for just 50 cents each. Though the small shop only had a few tables on its compact terrace (with additional seating inside), the lively street atmosphere added to the charm of the place. Overall, the Cuban coffee shop is a great spot for a quick and budget-friendly bite to eat in Santa Clara.
