No one eats them when the water is too hot (boiling), but hot water is necessary to go from dry to edible. Ok, so the present situation at this place. Went in for a quick bite before a show. The broth was too hot to eat and the noodles were as described above, reconstituted also too hot but I managed to blow and cook them enough. Burnt my tongue unfortunately. Disappointed to say the least. My thought is the restaurant could make the noodles and the broth separately. In other words add the noodles to broth that's not boiling hot and inedible. It's actually what Japanese Ramen joints do (and those are fresh made noodles). I gave a 4 because unless there's a health violation level issue, i don't like to hurt a business with a terrible rating. This fast casual restaurant serves sush, which, as the name of the restaurant suggests, is their main, and I didn't choose sushi so can't speak to how good those dishes are. Ramen is just a menu choice, it's not a Ramen place. Plus, listen restaurants do the best they can. The place is clean and the service is good. Low rating for a review over my experience could hurt a restaurant unnecessarily. Take what you will from my review. Maybe order something else? Or the restaurant could make the adjustment after considering my thoughts.
Udon and ramen manufactured from instant 50 cents cups chicken quality terrible mostly cartilage. Sorry i do not recommend this place for good food. Water machine broken do you have to pay 3 dollars for a water bottle and no bathrooms. They send you to the public bathrooms far away which are extremely crowded . Avoid.
Very friendly welcome. Very good preparation. We ate outside in a very nice musical atmosphere.
In the evening we went to explore Santa Barbara's shopping mile and missed these little shops. Food was delicious. Good value for money. The service was particularly great. All in all a nice dinner experience
I had a bad tyme at sushi tyme. My obviously packaged ramen was served with a two week old hard boiled egg. The whole experience reminded me of the weekend I spent in county jail, as the menu was identical.
