Ichiban - Santa Barbara

I ordered to go and I was robbed in the rule, but I really tried to get suggestions (it would have paid everything). the servant seemed very out of the loop and that was disappointing. I got my order and all 4 rolls tasted the same. I will not give up on this place, but I think they need to increase their game significantly. I will say that the edamame is delicious and probably the best I ever had. my suggestion is that you make your own judgment by checking it out yourself.

After a meal, if you want to take the leftovers home, the mean-spirited owner actually charges you fifty cents for a bag. Do they expect you to roll up the extra food in your socks? Further, the wait staff often mixes up orders. This isn't a joyous spot to dine.

Great service and nice variety of Japanese offerings, was impressed by their appetizers menu. Came here for dinner with my boys and we had their tonkatsu dinner set, saba dinner set, pork ramen along with several appetizers. Loved their vegetable tempura and the agedashi tofu appetizers and the ramen was surprisingly good. We came in hungry and had a great dinner experience, will be back again sometime

Ichibans is the most unsanitary and disgusting restaurant I have ever been too. I normally and firmly support small buisness. However because my experience here was so terrible, I feel that sharing is the moral thing to do. My wife and I were greeted by a very rude woman who appeared to be the manager. She was heard screaming to her employess before slamming the sushi on our table. It lacked flavor and was incredibly mushy, while the shrimp had a rancid taste and emmited a smell that resembled ammonia. Without much thought, we innocently began to eat the teriyaki, which at first glance did not look disgusting. Unfortunately, we were terribly mistaken as the plate was pinkish, while my wife pointed a strand of hair on the food. The experience does not end their because the next day both my wife and I awoke with terrible stomach cramps, nausia and diarrhea only to find out we had both contracted food poisoning. Besudes the people in charge, the emoloyess were all very nice. I hope nobody ever makes the mistake of ever going here again.
