Pellegrino's Italian - Sanger

Family-owned little restaurant. They let me customize pasta. The sampling plate was a bit small for my husband. The flavor was good. It was quickly prepared. We ordered to go. Vegetarian options: You're able to customize your meal. Dietary restrictions: Customizable meals

The best thing I can say is the ladies taking our order were sweet and helpful and the garlic bread was very soft and moist. Spent $50 and change to get soupy shrimp scampi with the shells still on the shrimp, chicken Alfredo with at least one hair in it (so far) and it tasted like they just dumped massive amounts of garlic and Italian seasoning in it instead of trying to properly season it. Paid 10.95 for stuffed shells as a meal and got three shells with sub par sauce. The best part of the shells was the ricotta. The salad I got looks semi decent but also like it came out of a premix bag from Walmart. The homemade dressing tastes kinda like they tossed some vinegar and olive oil in some marinara. Loved how the place looked though.

Thanks for dinner, it was delicious ?. My wife had spaghetti primavera and I had the combo (chicken parm, fettuccine alfredo, lasagna). Yum! Service was attentive and you could tell this was the local go to place for Awesome Italian. Look forward to visiting again, thanks.

I was so excited to try this place since I was craving Italian food and it had good reviews. The food was good but not how I thought it might have been. The food was ready fairly quickly which it was nice. The service was not the best at all which made it difficult to enjoy the food and the atmosphere. I used to be a waitress for many years and this was unacceptable. The waitresses were not attentive and they seemed to be bothered when we ask for basic things. I had to ask the waitress to remove the plates because we were done. This is a basic rule of thumb when waitressing, you should remove the plates so that customers are more comfortable. I could understand if the restaurant was full but there were only three other tables and three waitresses. One of the appetizers plate was broken and this bothered me because we had children with us. I nicely asked the waitress to change it please and she never brought a different one. Overall, I would have given the waitstaff a 0 but that is not an option. Probably not worth going back to this place.

Nice little Italian spot tucked away in Sanger Tx Waitress was pleasant and polite and the food was good. Red sauce was rich
