The Doghouse Sandpoint

The dogs were super yummy, the lemonade was great too! Fantastic service experience!

This little place was a pleasure to visit! Their attention to detail really shown through in their locally raised and made to order sausages and hot dogs. Everything is made to order which really effected the quality of our experience. I would highly recommend trying their strawberry lemonade as well! P.s the relish was crazy green but really good!

It was a blistering 97° summer day when us out-of-towners visited Sandpoint, Idaho. As we strolled through the shaded farmers market across the street from a cute line of food trucks, we kept seeing people holding these very refreshing looking clear plastic cups with bright colored straws and filled with a delicious looking something guaranteed to cool us off. We made a bee line to the Doghouse where we ordered Huckleberry, Passion something or other, and Regular Lemonades that were truly delicious! The owner tops off the drinks with the halved lemons used to make the drinks and even gave one of the kids a free ice water when asked. The hotdog choices were fun and different and if not having had a few little ones with us, we would have tried more than just plain hotdogs, but those were still really yummy and we 'd get 'em again. All in all, a fun treat and worth trying out!

On my trip up from Arizona to get to a cooler place for the summer I stopped off in Sandpoint Idaho and ask where to get a bite to eat and they told me to go to the Dog House and since I was from Texas I should get the Lone Star and I did and I was well pleased. Come on up and see Croix and he'll fix you up.

Was unsure of what to get so the Lone Star was suggested. It was the best hotdog I have ever had. A perfect hidden restaurant that I will no doubt frequent
