Jalapeños - Sandpoint

I threw a birthday party for my husband in Jalapeño's party room and had the restaurant for dinner. You did a fantastic job! Food was great, service was excellent, all the details went smoothly, and the costs were very reasonable. Highly recommended for small or large meetings? Talk to John or a manager? they will make it great for you!

My expectations have been exceeded visit Jalapenos for lunch! The restaurant is very clean with beautiful decor. I only had the steakquesadilla, but it was delicious. The chips were fresh, and you have the opportunity to either medium or hot salsa both were really good, but I prefer the flavors of the medium. Service was top notch. Recommended!

Love Jalapeños! Always! We came last week. It was for us! Still loving Jalapeños! Our server, Margaret, was one of the best servers we had so far (all were great, but it was exceptional). The spinach enchiladas were great as always. So everything was different. Deep-fried avocados are a must every time! Thanks for keeping it out through the rough times! Nice to have Jalapeños as one of our local icons!

On 7/13/22 our family had the unpleasant experience in the restaurant. The male waiter who served us was angry and aggressive hit my husband in the arm with a water pitcher while... Didn't apologize. He tried to hurry our order as soon as we set ourselves and we saw how he walked through the restaurant all the time. He seemed to be a seriously disturbed person. The food was very good, but the waiters bizarre ad was such a shutdown that we don't go back! Next time we go to Fiesta Bonita in Ponderay with a pleasant staff.

I have gone a few times with my wife. She likes the food but I think it is just okay. The flavor doesn't pop. Recently I ordered pickup and was suprised to see a 10% take out gratuity. Seriously?!?! So now there is a fee for buying a product that does not require service or anything extra on their part. Wow! I realize this is a hot topic, but to me it is pretty simple. Tipping is for service and better tips for great service. Way to stick it to the customers Jalapenos, we won't be back.
