We had a lovely meal here on the 22nd Sep. Service was attentive and the food was excellent. We booked very late as we had been out for the day but that was not an issue. We would highly recommend the restaurant to all, as a reasonably priced, high quality establishment.
Had a wonderful night here .The Xmas menu was excellent and varied The theme of xmas with the tree, music , tasteful decorations and the service all went towards a perfect night.
Stayed at the lodge for one night in December on a driving tour of East Coast Australia. Both the hotel and restaurant were fantastic. The couple who run / own this place were so friendly and accomodating. They were our waiter/waitress for the evening. The restaurant wasn't busy so we had a nice relaxing meal. There was a nice selection of vegetarian options for myself and the meal I chose was actually super tasty! The food was delicious and well worth the worth money. The couple hosting informed us of the best spot for viewing the beautiful sunset down by the lake. We nipped out to watch it ( they said we could pay when we returned) and came back later for a scrumptious profiteroles dessert. Could not recommend this restaurant more!
The lunch on Sunday's is a lovely Pensioners Roast, either Pork, Lamb, beef and Chicken with or without sweets. They also have a very reasonably priced menue with murder mystery dinners and more. Plus the staff and owners Steve and Anita are very hard to beat for great service.
