Resto9 is just that and what a wonderful experience it was for us to return here and find the enormous improvement that occurred with the restaurant, part of the GardenPark Hotel. The menu is excellent and the kitchen staff receive my cudes for 2 excellent evening meals. The wine..OMG the Bonarda Gran Reserve ..we loved it so much. Much more to choose. Now I want to turn off the waiter THIERRY... he's nothing less than Fantastic. He sets a benchmark for how and what is expected, yes expected by Waiters. This man misses NOTHING and has eyes that constantly scan the cartridges, he moves quickly, but efficiently over his work. He can offer suggestions, but only if you press the point, he knows the menu, knows each of his tables, Hell every hotel should tie new waitress staff to him. Watch and learn from a professional. Wonderful experience Resto9 and Kudos! How to experience your service again in the next Canadian winter. Well done.
The food is excellent, and the wine list is good. Try all their beef dishes for an excellent meal.
Less than average experience: The service was not good and the food was on average. There are certainly better places to stay in Tucuman
I have some research about Tucuman and decided to choose this restaurant after some reviews from here and was also far away from the new poshy area of Yerba Buena. The Resto 9 is located in Garden Park Hotel with a side entrance and has a typical local restaurant look. Nothing modern or flashy. The menu is not very long, but with some interesting options. The waiter was friendly and helpful, but not very knowledgeable. We had as an entrance the typical Empanadas of Tucuman, but the dough was a bit raw. The filling was okay, but not too hot. The main course was excellent, the pork matambrito was so delicate and tasty that it melts in my mouth. Dessert was disappointing, first choice Dessert was not available and the one we had, the House Dessert of any kind of Sundae was not good (ice cream low quality, brownie badly made and the chocolate chips was a crushed oreo cookie). A little disappointing, but we didn't have so many choices. Much to improve.
Muy bueno de verdad, porciones abundantes, quizás un poco caro pero lo vale.Muy buena atención y la sopa de cortesía exquisita!
