Bombay Garden San Mateo

This is a joke for authentic Indian food would not recommend it

Bombay Garden does not exist but there is another Indian place at this location

Got together with a friend I hadn't seen in a while and we met at Bombay Garden. Food was great and service was very good (never had to ask to have our water glasses refilled, dirty plates were removed and brought new plates, we never felt rushed). We ordered the vegetable pakoras, Goa fish Curry , Chicken Tikka Masala. Rice and Garlic Naan. Everything was absolutely tasty, no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this place to eat; only wished that they had a restaurant like this near my home in Nevada (near Reno). There is nothing like this over there. So I travelled 4 hours to get good Indian food.

Our server wasn’t friendly nor helpful in guiding us through the menu. One of the dishes was wrong and they replaced it, but the exchange was awkward. We were looking for s neighborhood gem

Horrible customer service and would not recommend this restaurant. Reserved for 2 on a special occasion through Open Table, but when we went there, they did not honor the reservation.
