L&l Hawaiian Barbecue San Marcos (inside Walmart)

Located in Walmart on Center Drive, this restaurant is a hidden gem. I give it 5 stars for its absolutely amazing taste, friendly workers who wear gloves in the kitchen, clean conditions, and great prices. Even as a picky eater who isn't a fan of BBQ, I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the food was. I can't stop thinking about it, and I will definitely be back!

On the other day I wanted to order something to eat when I looked in the back area three of the hired standing right on the kitchen area through which they doors their masks down and one of the hired simply cuts, without even their mouth in the open, so being told with this that they really want to get something to eat from this place I never know I'm glad that I saw that I was placed before.

My Uber Eats driver got my order wrong, but a worker named Luis took the initiative to bring it to us! That was very friendly and special. It reminded me of something my father would have done for people before he passed away a month ago. It just goes to show how special people in this world truly are. Luis was an amazing guy and made the experience great. I hope this company treats him as well as he deserves!

It took about 15 minutes to receive our food, and it seemed a bit slow considering there were only two guys working. When we got home and opened our food, it looked decent. However, I discovered that the egg on my Protein plate was crunchy because it had eggshell in it. I checked the Loco Moco plate and found eggshell in the sunny side up fried egg as well. This is unacceptable in the restaurant industry. The cleanliness of the facility was also lacking, although the guy at the register was friendly. Some additional training for the staff in the kitchen would greatly improve the overall experience.

Their service is superb I live in Hemet but I am from San Diego I came across this L Ls running into the Walmart and it was delicious and everyone is so friendly. Shout out to Luis I still make the drive to San Marcos for the food seriously the garlic chicken is my favorite ? hands down best Hawaiian food ?
