Le Vele - San lorenzo al mare

Our hotel recommend this restaurant and we are happy they did. The pizza was very good and the fish perfectly cooked and presentation was very nice.

On the highway to San Remo in San Lorenzo al Mare is a good place to stop and eat. The chef speciality when we where there was a gnocchi with seafood, really nice but both the meat we got and the pastas was good. No pizza for lunch only for dinner.

Superb food, nice view and the best and friendliest service. I dined there 11 nights in a row and I enjoyed every meal. Their selection is not huge but all dishes are delicious (wine was good too).

I went there in early September. It is easy to find with beautiful view from the veranda. I had an octopus starter which I shared with my wife followed by pizza. Both were excellent with the octopus very tender and well prepared in a simple way with potatoes and olive oil. The pizzas were well cooked in a wood oven and competently prepared. We also had dessert and a glass of wine and the total was a reasonable 25 euros each. The menu is not extensive with focus on pizzas but you can have grilled fish, fritto misto , and a choice of meat dishes. In summary a simple but good restaurant at a reasonable price
