Our tour bus with El Cristo held a break here. There were supermarkets next door and one over the street and bathroom at Hotel El Condor, which feels like its connection with Casita Suiza. I grabbed a coffee here and some others picked up a dessert. They had a small selection of souvenirs and I was thrilled to see Dolium wine from a small vineyard I had visited in Mendoza.
In the morning coffee and a fresh tostito stopped. Both were just the thing to get us to the mountains. Simple café setting, both inside and terrace seats. Can be very busy, so the locals as they say. We were told it was a safe, reliable stop and we agreed.
Uspallata seems like a lively little town that gets its fair share of visitors from passersby, going through or coming from Chile or the Aconcagua Park. Therefore, many of the places tend to be more touristy. Casita Suiza is not different, but it is not necessarily a bad thing. Coffee is great here, pastries fresh and cheap and they also serve various cakes that look huge and tasty. Nice spot!
Fuimos con mi esposo a desayunar y realmente es muy rico todo. Las tostadas son espectaculares. Muy buena atención. También compramos unos chocolates riquísimos.Super recomendado!!!
