Sol Agave - San Juan Capistrano

We had a wonderful time! The sea bass, carnitas, and butter cake we ordered were delicious and our server Vanessa was wonderful!! We are not the easiest to serve and she dealt with us like a pro. She also put on a very fun show mixing our Mexican coffee!

This was my first and LAST time eating here! They served my Mother-In-Law a salad with chicken and when she went to start eating it she sallowed something strange and looked under the lettuce to find a large pice of plastic wrap! We told the waitress and had to wait 30 mins to speak to the manager who didn't even apologize. Later, she started to feel sick (a sign affect of digesting plastic wrap) and the manager said he couldn't do anything about covering the meal until we got a doctors note! SO insensitive, so unprofessional. I understand sometimes accidents happen but the way they handled it was horrible!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Get a better manager and double check your food please.

I really don't know where to start. The whole experience was bad. The feel of the restaurant is very cold and not one that looks as an authentic Mexican restaurant. The service was so-so. The food was incredibly terrible. I tried some of the other over priced plates and they were bad too. The flavors were off and lacking in taste. We all didn't eat our plates due to the terrible tastes. The prices here are over inflated. I wish we would have tried another place while out on vacation, but live and learn.

Not crowded when I was there. Friendly staff. Food was 5 out of 5 for taste.Just incredible. Highly recommend. I don’t write reviews very often but this deserved my time.
