Zazil Cocina Mexicana - San Jose

I've visited Zazil twice. The fish tacos are good. The salad is just ok. It's nice having guacamole made table side, but aside from that it was nothing special. Loved the live music and ambiance in general. Very expensive but it's to be expected for the location.

Spacious restaurant with indoor outdoor options beautifully located in the corner of Santana Row. Lot of mock tails and vegetarian options available. The service is friendly but a bit slow.

After having a bad experience in el Jardín me and my sister decided to ask for the check it was a party or 8 we get food and our drinks never show up till we finish eating we pay and go to the restaurant across the street and let me tell you was one of the best experience I ever have.Jose the bartender from the moment we enter the restaurant make us feel welcome and make sure our Drinks were fulland the food let me tell you mi sister is really picky wen it came to steak but she loved is you have the time and opportunity to visit this place give a try remember to ask for Jose one of the best bartenders I ever meet.

We never got service, had to eventually leave the restaurant. When we sat down one bus boy gave us a handful of chips from a bag without saying anything. 10 minutes later another busboy gave us two glasses of water and told us “someone would be by soon”. 10 minutes later nobody had talked to us so we decided to leave. We went next door and we’re immediately served and had a fantastic meal. Highly recommend you skip this restaurant and go next door instead.

Their drinks are amazing and the ambience is really pretty. The service was on point as well! Will be sure to visit again.
