Starbird Chicken - San Jose

This is my new spot when I visit San Jose. The new Thai chicken tenders and truffle fries are excellent. The wifey enjoyed her thai chicken salad. Going there again soon!!!!!Food: 5/5

Orange salad came in good proportion. It had orange slices, carrot, lettuce and fried chicken. Tasted really good.Food: 5/5

Omg? I went to visit my bestie in San Jose and we both just kind of sat in all weekend and ordered some doordash. She had known about Starbird because of her coworkers and let me tell ya... these are some DELICIOUS chicken strips. I loved the thai sweet chili so so much! Our food got delivered pretty quick so I'm sure the food comes out fast. The fries were not my favorite unfortunately. I loved the starbird sauce and the ranch! So delicious. The nashville hot chicken tender was just okay to me as well. It kind of reminded us of like a tamarind type flavor lol.

Parking is plentiful and easy to find. The interior was pretty cool. I like the minimalistic them it has going on. Seating is abundant and widely available.Cali Bacon Dutch Crunch (3.5/5): pretty average. The flavor was well-balanced. I really enjoyed the Dutch Crunch. However there were a lot of juices making the sandwich fairly soggy. Tap to pay is accepted. Service is easy and relatively fast. Overall Starbird is alright.

It was my third time here and each time I eat here, I have to take away another star. I was here early for lunch, and even though the place was pretty empty, it seemed like every table was a mess. I was thinking, Do they serve breakfast?? It looks like I showed up after breakfast service. On top of this, the portions are small and the food is overpriced. BB
