Off The Street - San Jose

I am giving this restaurant 4 stars, but honestly, I would rate it more as a 3.5. I ordered takeout and the wait time was about 5 minutes. This was my first time dining here and I discovered it through Yelp as it is conveniently close to my house. After seeing pictures on Yelp, I decided to order the poutine and pulled pork sandwich. Upon receiving my order, I noticed there was not enough gravy and ran out before finishing the rest of the fries and cheese curds. The portion sizes of the fries and cheese curds were good, but I felt they could have used more gravy to prevent it from being too dry. Overall, the food was good and I would consider ordering it again, but I would not choose the slider for takeout again as it did not hold up well. I plan on returning to try the pulled pork sandwich and will request extra gravy for the poutine.

If you're searching for a fantastic spot to have lunch in the 95123 area, this restaurant is my go-to when I'm working from home in Blossom Valley. The menu is straightforward and everything is made with fresh ingredients. Although the menu is on the smaller side, I have never been let down. The atmosphere is lively, with a large chalkboard for people to socialize or express themselves. There is also a cozy sofa area with fun games for guests to enjoy.
