Mimi's Cafe - San Jose

The food was fantastic, just like always. However, the service was somewhat lackadaisical, as has been the case in the past. The smoked salmon omelet was delicious, and the French toast brioche was equally enjoyable. I also took the chocolate chip muffin that came with the omelet home with me. Overall, it was a good experience.

The service was rather slow, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy and there were plenty of empty tables. We had to request our coffee, which we had ordered at the beginning, after waiting 30 minutes. The food is decent for the price, but the fries were soggy. Additionally, the coleslaw that accompanied one of the dishes looked unappetizing, as it was missing a portion (see photo).

I really enjoy the atmosphere and service at this restaurant. The food is delicious, and the kids' meals are of excellent quality too. It's a great family-friendly spot. Highly recommend!

My favorite restaurant in the world. Mimi's Cafe is a beautifully styled French sit-down restaurant with an interior that is dazzling and very fun to look at. Everything is vintage and the food is simply incredible. I have grown up with Mimi's from when I was a child to now, and they have never failed to charm my heart. There are many French signs and objects on the walls, and the kid's menu simply rocks. I used to have so much fun with learning new French words, and as a kid, I would always order the chocolate milk. The kid's drinks have jokes on the sides and are colorful, and on top of that, are a fun texture. The fruit is fresh and there is a wide variety of what you can order.

I really enjoy the atmosphere and service here. The food tastes great, and the kids' meals are of very high quality as well. It's a lovely family restaurant.
