Holder's Country Inn - San Jose

I've never had a dish here that wasn't delicious. My favorite is the first-class rib sandwich; I've never had a better one in the USA. The ribs are a close second—they're tender and cooked to perfection. The beans are also fantastic. I really love this place! I've been there at least once a week for the past six months. I wish I could take someone special to Havasu Lake because they'd be disappointed in comparison to this food. I highly recommend dining here!

We expected Holder's Country Inn in South San Jose to be a great spot for a quick lunch, and we were pleased with our experience. The restaurant has a small cocktail bar, so I decided to try a Bloody Mary, which turned out to be delicious and perfectly spiced. I had the large chicken with sauce and smoked ribs, accompanied by beans, fries, and a choice of green salad or soup. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly. They also offer outdoor seating.

I ordered the cookies, the gravitational meal, and the fruit crepe. I was quite hungry and enjoyed every single bite. The food was excellent! I would have appreciated a bit more decoration on the cookies, and having a side of ice with the crepes would have been nice, but that’s just a matter of personal preference. My waitress was really friendly; she was a bit older with dark hair. She refilled my drink, provided me with a takeout cup, and helped me find various hot sauces for my hash browns. I really liked her. The other staff members I interacted with were also very pleasant. The atmosphere was lovely, with a spacious restaurant that had plenty of tables. I felt very comfortable there.

I love breakfast and holder? Country Inn didn't disappoint. I'm a midwest girl and grew up on cookies and Gravy, I'm always hesitant to order in a restaurant because it just never tastes like my grandmother. But I had a chance and ordered a side order and they were the best cookies and Gravy I've ever eaten in a restaurant. The hash browns were perfect and my breakfast Burrito was delicious. My server Phylis was the best. Great smile, attentive and simply super sympathetic. The iced tea was also freshly brewed and delicious. Absolutely back!!

Always a great breakfast/brunch/lunch experience at holders. Forst time trying out this location and it did not disappoint. Service was especially friendly and attentive. We had multiple people check on us multiple times. We got the carrot cake to go after our meal and that was delicious as well!
