Our favorites were the crab congee, shrimp dish, rice cakes, and stir-fried pig intestines. We will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this place. Food: 5/5.
This restaurant is a good hidden gem for Cantonese cuisine. It is one of the few places in the Bay Area that serves steamed rice noodle rolls in the Taishan/Hoiping/Southern Guangdong style, where the rice noodles are steamed in thin sheets and then rolled. Although it lacks the silky smooth texture of authentic Chinese places, it still satisfies cravings for this dish.
The house special rice noodles are absolutely delicious! The tofu clay pots are also very well seasoned. This mom and pop shop only accepts cash or Venmo. Definitely give their wok hei a try! Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5.
Food are honestly bad. Chicken meat is dry. The pork in porridge are big chunks of meat. 空心菜/water spinach is old and they didn't even bother to get rid of the stem even home cooks would know to do that. Service is fine, but they only accept Venmo and cash and literally demand you to pay tips when you don't even like the food. I think the table and utensils are not very clean, because there is weird smell the moment I sit down.
We came here for the Cantonese rice rolls since we've tried a couple places and they were just ok. Not the same as our childhood flavors back in China. Wasn't bad, would go again if in the area.
